Commit for many files is slow

Wow, that client is amazing. It's the best so far and this fast! <3 The option to select changes with the help of the search is a pure dream. I really appreciate your efforts! Thanks.

We use Git for generated files. So we have a lot of changes.

Now I see that in that Repo (30mb, 6k files) that committing 500 changes / files at once it is really slow (> 3 minutes). Is this a bug or just the way how this is application is working?

Maybe we could speed up the commit operation?

Hi @MrJack91, thanks for the comments. Yeah, committing is quite slow atm due to the flexibility of being able to toggle individual lines. I believe this can be sped up, but hasn't been prioritised. It's good to hear how people are using gitfiend so I can decide what to improve next.

Spent some time today improving this and got committing 15000 files down from minutes to seconds on my machine. I'll try get a release with a fix out soon.
