Hi, nice package!

The current license for this package is GPL, which means that any project consuming this package needs to respect the same GPL license as far as I understand the legalese.

Is this intended?

If not, please consider if this could be re-licensed with a more permissive license such as LGPL, MIT or Apache 2.0
