Database Installation in Progress...

I got message "Database Installation in Progress..." when use WP-Quick-Install. It stops and does not seem to work.

WP Quick Install Version: 1.4.2 Enviroment: Both two OS below

  • Windows 10, Wamp 2.5
  • Ubuntu 14.04, Apache2

I had the same error. The problem is corrected in this branch: https://github.com/vtxyzzy/WP-Quick-Install/

I hope those changes will get merged soon.

I tried your branch @vtxyzzy but i am still stuck with this hang. Tried everything but I don't know how to avoid the "Internal server error" that causes the failure of the installation. Also it happens only remotely. Locally everything works with the original branch. I suspect it is something related to server configurations.
