Compress Uploaded Demo files.

Demo files can become quite large. Compressing uploaded files using gzip or even xz would be amazing.

A good idea! How about saving ALL demos compressed in a single format, but allow the users to upload them in different formats? For example zip, rar, gzip, bz2 or uncompressed and on the server they get unpacked and repacked in one format? for example, user1 uploads an uncompressed demo -> Packed into a ZIP file user2 uploads a rar packed demo -> unpacked & repacked into a zip file etc.

So, all demos are compresed in one format, but the users can use the format they want to upload?

It should be relative easy to add
