AFMF.exe (process 8820) exited with code -1 (0xffffffff)

My device has an external GPU plugged in and is using AMD Drivers 24.8.1. When initializing ADLX in the AFMF sample, I get the following error message on initialization:

C:\Users\benja\Documents\GitHub\ADLX-SDK-Wrapper\Samples\CPP\build\bin\Debug\AFMF.exe** (process 8820) **exited with code -1 (0xffffffff). Exception thrown at 0x00007FF9584F2BD3 (atiadlxx.dll) in AFMF.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000000000000000.

While my AMD drivers were working just fine and AMD Adrenaline was also installed and running, I had to reinstall my drivers to get ADLX to initialize properly.
