GPO Add User Privilege Corrupts File

Open davidmckennirey opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

Hello! Thanks for the great tool, I am using it in a lab environment and I noticed that the "Add User Privilege" functionality can corrupt the \\domain.com\SysVol\domain.com\Policies\{GPO GUID}\Machine\Microsoft\Windows NT\SecEdit\GptTmpl.inf file if user privileges are already defined in this file. I extracted my corrupted file and looked at it in less and noticed that the new line between the two privileges is not consistent with the rest of the file.

This issue only happened if I was adding a user to a privilege when another user has already been added to that privilege. I'm happy to provide more details if needed!

Hey, sorry I have notifications turned off by default looks like. Can you try to confirm this again. I should have tested this scenario. If this is an issue I will add a update in the next release, thanks for reporting that!
