Total distance of tour

Is there the possebility to get the start distance of a tour to create a process bar of the tour? I thougt about saving the distance when the navigation.estimatedDistance jumps from 0 to x or will increase 100km or 150km. But I dont know how to build it and maybe there is an option to get it directliy from the tool.
