I do hear something, sounds like the piano strings to me (it's very subtle, I had to turn up my volume to notice it)

Rename the functions explode/implode to something less martial

Maybe also add an option to split within the same staff? As far as I remember (no PC nearby) the current "Explode" function moves everything to a different staff so...
