Refactor code to work with Vue 3.x

Why not leave it at 2?

@evdubs maintainability. Vue 2 LTS will be EOL by the end of this year. Also, some other dependencies require vue 3 at newer versions. We need to keep our codebase and its packages/frameworks up to date. We are very behind, and progress is slow and painful. You can check out dependabot PRs if you want to help.
