improve customization options

• rework macropad backlight level handling
• disable debug output by default
• add FRAMEWORK_SAFE_RANGE to find first free KEYCODE
• set BOOTLOADER correct docu:
• qmk_hid bootloader trigger
• add LED num mapping

not sure which branch is used for the active development, if his one is the wrong one please provide the correct one ;)

currently working on my custom layer to mimic the arrow keys and navigation keys of a thinkpad with the macropad. I am happy to create other PR if this is interesting as a keymap analog to esther.

Hi, I am way out of my level of understanding for this stuff but from what I have been told this is where a change would have to be made in order to get multi-level lighting layers added to the customization options. There are some effects that are reactive but having a static dim backlight would improve usability. Idk if you would be interested in adding it to your fork or if this is even the right place to ask. But you seem keen on adding stuff of your own so you know more than me how to do it. I don't yet know how to code this kinda stuff. But I hope your fork gets approved.
