Microsoft Phone Link for Windows also requires Link to Windows for Android, so the problem may be that Fossy Phone is not linking properly to the latter. The phone still appears as connected on Phone Link, but new phone calls or messages do not appear on the Windows machine. Once Fossy Phone is removed and the Android standard phone is restored, all works fine, and even restores the missing calls and messages in the Windows lists.
