Feature description

Adding a space between country/area codes and the rest of the number when dialing like shown in the right picture.

Why do you want this feature?

Adding a space would make it easier to read the number eg. to compare it to a number written somewhere else or to find mistakes. In addition to that it would just look better.

Additional information

(This feature would be also helpful in the call history, but for that there is already this Request: Add space after country code in call history #62)

@Shadow-of-eagle hey what about changing this request to format numbers when dialing? as its just another format of the number

country/area codes are the hardest to implement imo, if someone do this other formats should be easy

saving and this should be different fr, because format it, when saving should be easier

and how would you like it see it implemented? should it just add space? or GUI for it should be changed, when adding more than 9 numbers?

I thought it should Display a space between the country code and the area code and between the area code and the rest of the number (If country/area code are given). It should just Display a space and not add a unicode space. (Was that the question or did I got it wrong). What excactly do you mean with "changing the gui"?

@Shadow-of-eagle Don't worry. We understand your feature request, since stock phone apps works this way.

@inson1 Please don't complicate things. From the beginning it was an obvious request to provide number formatting like in other apps.
