Feature description
Great new feature of allowing notes to be individually sorted. Thanks. However there is a check box on the sorty by screen which is "Use for this checklist only" which is, by default, unselected.
I think it would be much better if this were selected by default. Currently if you make a mistake and leave this unchecked then all notes will be resorted by this criteria and then will need manually sorting back as required. If it were selected by default and the user wanted the sort criteria to apply to all notes then they could just resort that Note and deselect that field if they forgot to the first time. Thanks,

More intuitive and less corrective action needed if wrongly used compared to the current situation.

It took me a while to understand that you are using custom sorting in your (other) notes.
I'm thinking the option should be renamed to Apply to all checklists and disabled by default. This change will make more sense after https://github.com/FossifyOrg/Notes/issues/27.
An alternative solution is to automatically enable "Use for this checklist only" when the user selects custom sorting in any note.
I think option should be renamed to Apply to all checklists and disabled by default is clearer and better. Thanks.
