Add swipe to archive/delete for the SMS application

The simple sms application requires a long press to select and fumbling through the menu to archive/delete. The ability to swipe left or right is a more common gesture and imo is more intuitive.
Describe the solution you'd like It would be great to have the left or right swipes configurable to either archive or delete.

I'll agree, with the emphasis on CONFIGURABLE. I know some people would like this, but I don't like it. For me, another SMS app I used which had it was perpetually accidentally archiving things because I can be a little ham-handed. If this feature is present, but can be disabled, I'd see it as an improvement.

Same here. Really want swipe to archive :) watching this closely. Cant wait! :)
