Make parent folders selectable in the widget

Feature description

When adding a widget to the homescreen, only a bottom-level folder, that has no subdirectories, can be chosen. When I navigate through my folders and am currently in a non-bottom-level folder, then click "ok", the selected folder does not change.

I want to be able to select a non-bottom-level folder for the widget.

Why do you want this feature?

I usually have projects with subdirectories that I want to link to. Linking one of the subfolders usually is not helpful at all, as I need the overview of the project.
