Feature description

allows users to control the playback speed of videos (e.g., 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, etc.).

Why do you want this feature?

Increased accessibility.

Implementation ideas:

• Granular speed control: Adjust the speed with a slider or input box, offering increments of 0.1x or 0.25x.
• Remember last used speed: Optionally, remember the last chosen speed. Thank you ♡

Hello ! As part of a Open Source Software course at University Paris 8, me and @Sriram448 would like to work of this feature.

I'd like to add some emphasis on the UI level of this feature request. Ease of use wise, there can be vast differences between functionally equivalent implementations.

For the most elegant solution I know, a vertical two finger slide on the player screen immediately adjusts/fine-tunes playback speed to your likings in realtime, much unlike a clumsy numeric setting in a menu that requires close attention and multiple proficiently aimed taps for every change.

To get some inspiration about the former concept, see e. g. MXPlayer (closed source).

For the latter, see e. g. VLC for Android. At non default speeds, there is at least a shortcut button to the (finicky) speed setting interface, but if current speed is 1.00, even that shortcut vanishes.

Will there will be default playback speed because I always watch in 2x speed so it will be annoying to go and change it to 2x speed. If there isn't please add it
