Exclude / include Folders missing option for external storage

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Gallery correctly shows images from both internal and external (micro-sdcard) storage
2. Go to Settings, Manage excluded folders (same for included folders)
3. Tab on '+'

Expected behavior

Choice between internal and external storage

Actual behavior

Only 'Intern' available

Just to be sure - when you tap Internal in the folder chooser, you don't have a choice between internal and external memory?

No. No choice. Button looks like disabled to me.

Besides, it is named Intern on the S8 (which has an external storage) but Internal on my Pixel 7a (which does not have external storage) and there it is active and tapping it reloads the folder list.
