Statistics = 0

Hi there

Running latest wanderer version. I have 4 trails imported but I see in my profiles statistics just 0 values:

What could be wrong?

Thank you and regards Lukas

You are aware that stats are calculated over summit logs not trails, yes? https://wanderer.to/use/statistics/

In my Trail (Route) I imported GPX file and there are all needed informations, or not?

No, if you want statistics, you will need to add a summit log to the trail. You can simply add the same gpx to the summit log to see it in the stats.

The idea behind it is that you plan your route in wanderer (that's the trail) and then complete it (that's the summit log). I know that this is not ideal for everyone. I might add an option in the future that trails also count towards the statistics.

i have an idea about this, but thats a bigger change.

i'm a person who plan multible routes just to have multible choices. and if i there and go hike, this routes are just a recommendation or rough roadmap for my route who i actually hike.

So my idea to bring all this together: Seperate the planned routes from the completed routes (which are the summit log today) Also split the upload folders for both types. So if i want a overview over all my done routes i have a seperate section. the completed routes should be linkable to a planned route. which is already working at the moment, only in the summit book. Only without re-uploading the gpx file. This would also solve the problem with the statistics. Since only the completed routes are analysed, which do not necessarily need a planned route as a "parent route".

I agree with the separation of planned and completed routes.

This is exactly how I use Komoot currently, with multiple planned routes in advance, and the routes actually completed. They call them “Saved routes” and “Completed activities”.

I agree with this as well - I think it makes sense!

I tried to re-add the same gps track (even if the documentation explicitly tell to add another track). The elevation metadata extracted from the track in the summit book are wrong (3000m instead of 1000m, maybe metadata are wrongly reported in feet?).
