New uploads not working
Hello, whenever I try to access an ipfs.io generated link to view/download the ipfs content takes forever to load and doesn't even load up. Maybe the initial seeding speed is too low? Or maybe your servers haven't been handling the workload to distribute contents to ipfs in a few seconds/minutes?
@capedra Thanks for the issue :) We have been solving this issue during this weekend. We think it's solved, can you try again? :)
@alexsicart Hello Alex! You're welcome.
It's better than before but whenever I upload some file, it takes several minutes for the file to become totally ready for the person who's going to receive the file. I try to download the file after uploading it, and I see that I have to refresh the page several times before the file gets totally downloaded. Is it normal? I don't know if it's a problem related to the upload speed of your servers, some latency issue, some port forwarding issue or even because there aren't a lot of nodes available on IPFS at the time that I tested it.
Also, I would like to know for how long do you keep the files on your servers/IPFS since I know that files can't be deleted from IPFS (just garbage collected) and they exist as long as nodes keep them on their disks. I ask you that because I uploaded some files on March 31 and I can see the following message on email.filenation.io: "Sorry! We could not find your files :(" Maybe it would be nice if the user could select for how long he/she wants the file(s) available to download.
