Cant update game mode and now getting this error, should I just unistall and reinstall game mode?

This has been popping in my gnome logs recently

Object .Gjs_gamemode_christian_kellner_me_extension_GameModeIndicator (0x560c5490a060), has been already deallocated — impossible to set any property on it. This might be caused by the object having been destroyed from C code using something such as destroy(), dispose(), or remove() vfuncs.

Is it best if I just remove it and reinstall it at this point? I can still use game mode just cant update to 1.6 for some reason

Edit: I have also been getting this too when I launch a game with game mode.
