etc. so first of all do you really need ATLauncher Minecraft launcher to start minecraft with gamemode, or you can use it with official launcher. and also how and where do i put gamemode startup command or whatever its called in AT or official launcher to start mc with gamemode?

I believe you need to switch the path in the launcher.
