Oritech Item Pipe in Input mode prevents Lapis from turning into Source Gem in Imbuement Chamber

Describe the bug

I have Lapis being fed into Imbuement Chambers via Oritech Item Pipes, piping out with them as well into a locked Functional Drawer with some Source Gems already in it. Crafting Progress goes up, but it doesn't change into a Source Gem. However, if I turn off the Input Mode (input into the storage network) of the Oritech Item Pipe, four seconds later the Lapis turns into a Source Gem. I then turn it back on, and the Source Gem is inserted into my Functional Drawer. Somehow, having the Oritech Item Pipe in Input Mode (or trying to put it into a Functional Storage Drawer) prevents the Lapis from turning into a Source Gem.

Steps to reproduce

Make a chest, a Functional Drawer locked to Source Gems, two Oritech Item Pipes, and one Imbuement Chamber. They will all be placed in a row. Have a Jar of Source nearby to speed up the test, but it doesn't affect the outcome, just makes the test faster. Place the Input Chest and an Oritach Item Pipe next to it. Right-click on the Item Pipe where it connects to the chest to put it into Input mode. Place the Imbuement Chamber next to the Item Pipe. Place the other Oritech Item Pipe next to the Imbuement Chamber and right click where it touches the Imbuement Chamber to put it into Input mode. Put the Functional Drawer next to the Item Pipe. It should be locked to Source Gems Place one Laps in the Input chest. See that it is placed into the Imbuement Chamber. Watch the Crafting Progress increase to 100. Notice that the Lapis doesn't turn into a Source Gem. Right-click on the Oritech Item Pipe that leads to the Output Chest, next to the Imbuement Chamber, so that it goes from Input Mode (with the large square next to the Imbuement Chamber) to default mode (without the large square). Notice that four seconds later the Lapis turns into a Source Gem. Right-click on the Oritech Item Pipe that least to the Output Chest, next to the Imbuement Chamber, and see that it removes the Source Gem.
