reconnecting/help for other fixes
i dont have a complete fix for anything but i saw something that helps me.
i run this api service on my windows vps when ever im not playing games or asleep work etc to boost my hours i just got it yesterday and while using it i ran into some problems
my problems:
- when running this for over night or for a long time i got reconnecting issues.
- Connecting takes ages.
https://gyazo.com/de11a84e7b4914dc2576cb9c7260b525 but this just fixed its self while running (reconnecting issue) i found that some people use v 3.1.0 and that helps them if it works for u great but it does the same for me.
HOW I FIXED the connecting issue? easy it lies within the settings if i dont have "connect to steam community" checked it will literally takes so long to connect and most likely not connect and start boosting. but when checked it connects within a minute and all is well. this is how i fixed my problem unless the connect to steam community just makes it so people cant see what game ur playing but still racking up hours?!?!
I dont have a fix for the reconnecting issue and made me lose about 30mins-1 hour of potential hours but thats a small price to pay when ur boosting over night or all day maybe it lies within the code for networking? idk but you can check ur self.
