Might beef up discussion of channel posting permissions
This came up while doing something creative to assign authors in the channel entry form.
User had to be logged in and were able to assign an author to the NEW entry they were creating.
Kept getting a permission error.
The author assigned was from a role that WAS in the author list and did have permission to post in the channel.
The user creating the entry had permission to create entries and change entry author. It was only when they added 'Edit Entry Author' that it would validate.
I think this is intended behavior, but the word 'Edit' had me thinking it was only for edits, not new entries. And 'Change entry author' would be for new entries.
Comes up fairly rarely, but... we may want to clarify what those do.
I think "assign entry author" would sound right for both cases? Or "re-assign"?
