[BUG] Evolution API error "Can't link new device" when scanning QR code n8n
📋 Bug Description
Hi everyone! I am getting this problem when trying to scan the Qr code on Evolution API. I have already tried:
delete the instance and create a new one
disconnect all devices linked to the whatsApp app Still getting the same error. Anyone can help me? Thanks!!
I only found on the internet issues related to not generating the QR code but not this one.
🔄 Steps to Reproduce
- delete instance already created
- trying reconnect via qrCode whatsApp app
✅ Expected Behavior
It should connect the number to the API of Evolution API and sync all the contacts/messages.
❌ Actual Behavior
IT is giving me the error on the picture attached
🌍 Environment
- Evolution API version: [2.3.0]
- Connection type: [Baileys, WhatsApp]

Thank you! The information you shared fixed the connection issue for me, but there's still another problem: Evo is not detecting/receiving the incoming messages. My installed version is v2.3.4 Have you ever run into this and do you know any solution?

Obrigado! As informações que você compartilhou resolveram meu problema de conexão, mas ainda há outro problema: o Evo não está detectando/recebendo as mensagens recebidas. Minha versão instalada é a v2.3.4. Você já se deparou com isso e sabe como resolver?

Hi I solved it finally upgrading to the 2.3.6. Though now when connected, if I receive messages the push notifications are not showed anymore on the screen when my iphone is blocked. Anyone with the same problem?? thanks again
Hi I recommend first update to 2.3.7 and try again.
