Actually maybe thats not a problem because we can just tell people they no longer need the snippet, since they would have to manually update netcode patcher for this behaviour...

that's weird, i don't know why it should.
This was caused by a bug with LethalLib, LethalLib 0.11.2 should fix it, which i just pushed to thunderstore.
From the stacktrace it looks like it is caused by a mod called FairAI
must be some compatibility issue, it definitely does work in the latest LethalCompany. Please supply your log file when you make bug reports because it helps.
