How to adapt for other extruders? e.g. Microswiss ng.

I have thoroughly read through the instructions on this, however I am finding it difficult on how to adapt it for other extruders. I have a Microswiss ng, and it has no room to place a filament sensor after the extrude gears. How would I adapt this?

No need for a filament sensor at the extruder, look for the Happy Hare code to drive the ERCF, for me it works better without the sensor
