Add clearance for bearing in Selector Encoder Cart

Open SkiBikePrint opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

The current design provides for only 0.2mm clearance around the roller bearing in the Selector Encoder Cart Right and Left parts. Print tolerances can result in interference with the bearing. I propose increasing the clearance to 0.5mm.

that's an idea, but that part there is overextruded AF as well

Maybe slightly overextruded as there is only 0.2mm clearance in the nominal design clearances and the bearing was slightly touching the part. I highly doubt that this part was intentionally designed for 0.2mm clearance. That is a tight tolerance for an area that does not require tight tolerances.

I've printed the ERCF of a sloppy Geetech A10M then reprinted some parts on a Voron 0 I have to say that this part is not one that I had clearance issues with. Maybe @geirskogul is correct and some printer tuning would be beneficial?
