Separate views for tree sections: constraints, draw order, events, images, audio
Besides search filter, could you guys add tabs to the Hierarchy to separate the groups? e.g. Draw Order, Animations, etc.
It is very irritating to have selection focus and scroll position lost or "stolen" when just taking a look or doing minor things on other groups. e.g. when rigging a part of a character, try to fix a Draw Order issue or checking out a constraint setting, the current design force selection change because only one item in the panel can be selected in the panel.
The best scenario is to allow them to have their own panel and user can customize where and how to dock them. Even if just separated into individual tabs, I can still check out constraints and draw order etc without auto deselecting what was editing.

Lastly, in thinking about UI suggestions... I wonder if anyone has considered the ability to split the window of the Tree panel? An example of this would be how Maya's 'outliner' hierarchy panel can be split vertically in order to view things at the top of a long list and things at the bottom of that same long list, at the same time (screenshot of this attached). A split window like that + filtering would be most useful for quickly navigating the Tree to work with skeletons and the parenting of assets.
