Non-destructive offset+shift for secondary motion.

User requested "keys with negative time": http://esotericsoftware.com/forum/Feature-Thought-Negative-Timeline-7876 User also cited animating a wavy scarf as a use case. It could be anything that has free joints and looping motion, really.

Another way to achieve it would be to set custom start and end times per animation.

In effect, what's being requested is a non-destructive and more faithful version of offset+shift on the dopesheet that Spine currently has.

Here's another proposition regarding Non-destructive offset http://esotericsoftware.com/forum/Idea-about-offset-11387

Another +1 here: http://esotericsoftware.com/forum/Feature-Request-Dynamic-key-offsetting-11440

I often find myself offsetting keys within animations and then later needing to come back and edit them. would it be possible to allow offsetting while preserving their original setup in order to edit them later? similar to a smart object within photoshop but ideally within the same timeline or on top of the main timeline but ghosted for reference purposes.

This would be a great feature. I know at least, 3 other animators that have tried and liked spine but in the end, switched to live2d or even after effects just because of how inconvenient the destructive keyframe offsetting currently is. I sincerely hope that the devs look into this again, it's been 4 years since this feature was requested.

a +1 here: http://esotericsoftware.com/forum/Request-15598 The suggestion is also to make this work for chains of bones, such as hair etc and to be able to add a delay option to such chains.

The suggestion is making a new constraint like AutoSway which is a plugin to make waving animation easily in After Effects.

This would be extremely useful! Right now we need to think twice before offsetting, because when we'd like to change it brings other redundant keys in which are difficult/time consuming to remove so we end with a messed up cuves, even if the starting point was just a simple sine wave of beziers.
