Application icon P7Zip-Desktop Snap 16.02.2 on Ubuntu 20.04
In the dash you can only see the default common application icon (="Wheel") for the P7Zip-Desktop Snap 16.02.2 on Ubuntu 20.04.
Can you please add a correct icon in this Snap?

This is not a good solution because it links to a detached file (picture) somewhere else.
The better fix is to add Icon=/snap/p7zip-desktop/current/meta/gui/icon.png entry to /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/p7zip-desktop_p7zip-desktop.desktop launcher to display icon packaged in Snap file.
Restart Ubuntu for changes to take effect.
My guess is that this line does not work as expected on Snap install.
The icon entry does appear in /snap/p7zip-desktop/current/meta/gui/p7zip-desktop.desktop, but not in /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/p7zip-desktop_p7zip-desktop.desktop which is used in the launch menu by Ubuntu.
No icon on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS too.

If someone intends to become the maintainer of this project, he/she can write me at [email protected] or t.me/ErnyCS and I will do what is necessary to make it possible.
Currently I don't accept PR as I don't have time to evaluate them so it would be a waste of time, I encourage anyone who is interested in continuing this to write to me so we can find a solution.

P7Zip-Desktop does not worked anymore for me on Ubuntu 20.04. As an good alternatieve I have found PeaZip that you can install as flathub: https://flathub.org/apps/io.github.peazip.PeaZip
