simplelogin.co appears in the list of “toxic domains” from this source but the stated basis for blocking is technically incorrect because this is really a ‘mail alias’ service (not a ‘disposable e-mail service’), as the mail is forwarded (not discarded), and manual account creation is required (which disposable e-mail services do not require.)

Several months ago, SimpleLogin was acquired by Proton AG (a respected company which operates the ProtonMail service.) The reason for this acquisition is that SimpleLogin is often used for legitimate purposes by ProtonMail subscribers. As detailed in https://github.com/EnergizedProtection/block/issues/931, this upstream block list was intended solely for web forum servers (not individual users) and blocking this domain will prevent SimpleLogin customers from accessing their account via the web interface.
