Several glacial terms in SWEET are treated as a processes but within the GCW definition these are positional qualities. The terms with this issue are:

  • periglacial
  • proglacial
  • subglacial
  • supraglacial

What would you like to see changed?

  • If the SWEET hierarchy is maintained as is, the terms should be relabeled as "x"process.
