Need help with connecting with MyBB with server/GroupManager

Hey, I have no experience in CommunityBrigde nor MySQL. So if anyone could have helped me with connecting my myBB forum with my server, that would be great :) I want it so everyone who joins the server starts off as the rank "Newbie" and when they register on the forum with in game username, they get ranked to Citizen. I currently now has it so people have to be online for a hour to rankup.
