Optionally remove downgrade/signature limitation for LSPosed users

Open Xynonners opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It seems like Droid-Ify has an artificial limitation to stop users from downgrading / installing with mismatched signatures, as doing so is usually a bad idea? and not allowed in AOSP. However, when rooted LSPosed users have the option of using xposed modules such as Let Me Downgrade or Core Patch, which allow removing these limitations in AOSP.

Describe the solution you'd like Have a toggle to disable installation limitations.

Users should be allowed the option to downgrade apps, and it's not Droid-Ify's business whether or not the downgrade is successful.

I sometimes sign apps using app-manager so it won't get auto-updated or if I want I can make my own custom version for some useful apps or simply just compile stuff myself. I can't root my device but app-manager helps me with downgrading and avoid signature mismatch. Hopefully it gets implemented soon.

I have added support for ignoring signature in last version, Idk if I will add downgrade support. This is done for now
