Can't find "Discard tabs after hide (this will save the RAM)" option

I know this setting used to exist, and it's referenced on https://github.com/Drive4ik/simple-tab-groups/commit/4e09422fe96e1b80a5680a12c62172cc9518a2a2 as being a global setting, but I can't seem to be able to find it anymore.

Has it been removed, or did it get moved elsewhere?

This was moved to "unload tabs from memory after closing a group" in group settings

Is there no global setting for it anymore then? Do you have to configure it per group?
