Codec commander fails to restore sound after long sleeps

I have the problem of Codec commander working for shorter sleeps, up to a few hours. When leaving the computer for longer periods however, like over night, often sound fails in being restored. Mb: Gigabyte z97mx-gaming 5. 10.10.5 clover
