Suggestion: EX mod ports of popular composite source handling/fitlerilng filters/plugins ASTDR(MC)/Tcomb

Some of the most powerful plugins for handling composite "rainbows", are ASTDR(MC) and Tcomb. ASTDR, and the especially power "MC" variant, are limited in terms of bit depth and format support, but seem to use the standard bunch of tools. I think this tool could be useful for those who deal with a lot of composite sources, such as DVDs, LD both conventional and RF decodes.

Currently, ASTDR is limited to YV12, which may be a limit of DeCross, this can be superficially worked around by merging the chroma back to the higher quality luma, while it quantizes the chroma a bit, it still looks basically fine. This is a common workaround.

Tcomb is another powerful plugin, but it's not a script but is indeed on github. Replication of the functionality may be possible for the powerful dotcrawl filtering, but ADSTR (and the MC variant) could be a good fit to round out what the EX toolset covers.

Don't know of a workaround for Tcomb, but it's functionality isn't that important compared to the above script.
