evdi frame buffer

In module source there is evdi_fb.c and a google search shows an evdidrmfb frame buffer device (/dev/fbx) but it is not present in my system. Is there a way to enable that or is it only available for certain adapters? I am using Arch Linux with kernel 5.13.10 and a DL-3500 adapter.
