Update Site not working?

Hi Guys,

is there any problem with the Update Site? I have been trying to install ABAP Code Search in my new Eclipse installation, but it looks like file https://eclipse.devepos.com/latest/content.xml does not exist.

Hi @dsdaraujo,

The update site is up and running. There never has been a file called content.xml. However there is an archive file content.xml.xz which contains content.xml. For a whole list of available files in the update site you can look here.

I am not sure how you usually install eclipse plugins, but if you just pass the base url of the update site in the install dialog then it should work and display the following output:

thanks for your answer. I am still trying to understand. I have several update sites working, but just ABAP Search Code gives me this error.

I will continue trying to solve it, and post here if I find something.

Hm, this could be because of the GitHub certificates, as the update site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Are you behind a company vpn?

Not VPN, but in the company network.

@dsdaraujo updating in the company network does not work for me either. I update the Plugin without a company network. Make sure your proxy settings are disabled.
