Customizing steps for Continuous jogging
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Continuous jogging is very useful for better control of spindle movement, as it stops as soon as user releases button. Actually it should stop but it does not.
It seems there is some movement step set. on My machine moves spindle for 6.4 to 6.8 mm on single very short click on jog . That is too large when you need to pinpoint spindle location.
Describe the solution you'd like It would be great that w can choose step length for continuous jogging.
My proposal is to add checkbox which is used to switch among step and continuous mode of jogging and existing step drop down list could be used in both modes to set movement precision.
Commenting to keep the post active. This would be a useful feature, I've noticed the same thing.
