[Wayland] Keyboard shortcuts don't work if xwayland not present

Running Deadbeef under Wayland using Sway. If xwayland is not installed, keyboard shortcuts/hotkeys do not work, e.g. Ctrl+F, Ctrl+Q. The only keys that work are: cut-copy-paste, up/down to select track, F10, Alt+... to open menu items. This is while Deadbeef is otherwise running (rendering the window) on Wayland not xwayland.
