dataobjects-net Web extension

Can't install web extension on .NET framework 4.8 project. It's not compiled to .NET Standard 2.0 like the rest of the project. It's compiled to Core 2.0.

Yes. It was compiled to Core 2.0 because it was reworked to be Asp.Net Core pipeline friendly.

I guess we need to have both - core and framework versions

I have investigated the issue and I'm pretty sure that having multi-targeted project is a bad idea - pipeline-based and IHttpModule-based concepts differ drastically. I think we will have to introduce framework version as separate project within DO 6.

Or just release 5.X under MIT license like 6.X.

We cannot publish 5.x. The extensions for 5.0 are published though https://github.com/DataObjects-NET/doextensions
