Appearance of non-rendered portals
A portal may not be rendered because of portals being disabled, hitting MAX_VIEWS, bad PVS not sending the portal entity, etc. In that case the portal surface may appear in several ways depending on graphics settings:
- transparent
- hall of mirrors effect
- cleared (all black)
If we are to choose one way that the non-rendered portals should look, which one should it be? It would be funny to pick the HoM, but that would be the most difficult to implement in the case that clearing is enabled.
