Breadcrumbs collapse in mobile mode
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. In terms of the UX of the system, I consider it more usable having collapsing breadcrumbs on mobile. It's highly useful especially when the names of collections and communities are long. On mobile view is a limited place where a user can have the most important information about the actual record and still have easy access to different levels of the repository's structure.
Describe the solution you'd like Instead of a full breadcrumbs view in two lines (homepage, community, collection, title of record), there will be one line with a title of record and a button that provides access to different levels of the repository's hierarchy (homepage, community and collection).

Possible realisation:
@tdonohue Have you had a chance to look at this issue? I think that it is a useful feature concerning mobile mode optimization.
@michdyk : I haven't had a chance to look at this in any great detail because I'm busy finishing up the 8.0 release. At a glance it sounds reasonable to make this easier to read on mobile devices, but I don't have a strong opinion here. Nonetheless, if your team wants to build a PR because you find this to be important, you are welcome to do so...and I'll do my best to find a volunteer to review it when it's ready. At this point, I cannot guarantee whether it'd be possible to add into 8.0.... it may depend on the scale of the refactoring work necessary to support this.
