how to tell it what language the file is?

@upup666 Hi, can you elaborate a bit on what you are suggesting? Do you propose to have language classification on the pipeline?

maybe I haven't figured it out, is there any way to choose and explain to the application what language the file is in that I'm giving it?

@upup666 There is no general way to provide the input language of a document. However, if your document is scanned, there are language options one can set for the respective OCR engine you choose.
