Add info about data sources.
add an entry in the top bar's burger menu "Data sources"/"Datenquellen". It should open a pop-up similar to the other entries in the menu. The text can be a placeholder for now or provided by @KleinAn & team.
I would say: Priority medium, because it is very important for the LHA to see this information and to know the background clearly to make decisions.
Is it possible to give an additional information on the actuality of the data used for the simulations @annawendler
@HenrZu
Hi. Since July 24, we just use the reported case data for the initialization. The data is available and explained here: https://github.com/robert-koch-institut/SARS-CoV-2-Infektionen_in_Deutschland
@HenrZu Is it possible to ad this information (in a shorter version in the blue "i" button and add the date? We could also do a short meeting to talke about it and formulate something.
Im not really familiar, how to bring this into the frontend/interface. Maybe Moritz or Jonas know if this is possible?
@HenrZu it is possible, I talked to Moritz. But we (Anna W. + you + SP4) need to provide the test/ informations. Thats why I asked for a Meeting via Mattermost.
@JonasGilg @NXXR We created some texts:
The data currently used in ESID is downloaded and updated daily from the RKI.
And also for the data infirmation:
This dataset contains comprehensive information on SARS-CoV-2 infections in Germany that were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the health authorities in accordance with the Infection Protection Act (IfSG). The data includes information on the number of confirmed cases, deaths and recoveries, from which further key figures related to the COVID-19 pandemic can be derived. Demographic data hosted by Regional Statistics, produced by the Census, is also included. In addition, data on intensive care capacities and COVID-19 intensive care bed occupancy in Germany are used. These are also provided by the RKI, among others. The intensive care register is being set up and developed as a cooperation project between the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI e.V.). The DIVI e.V. is a scientific association in the field of intensive care and emergency medicine in Germany. Demographic data based on the Zensus is also used. The data contains information on age-disaggregated population figures at district level.
@fifth-island this would be a nice candidate for content in your knowledge base. 👀
