Compiled Export Function
AmCharts5 supports multi-content exports, if we have time and it is desired by the health departments, we could add an additional export function to the ESID menu that allows a compiled export of all of the information on the ESID site into a neat and organized pdf.

Also move the export function/menu to the burger menu or a button next to it (if important enough).

- What are these information exactly that can be exported?
- Could that be also relevant for the health reporting on infectional diseases of the LHAs? (one LHA asked if that reporting could be included in the statistics part of ESID; @JonasGilg you have a template of a health reporting of one LHA)
- Might be also interesting for the communication of scenarios to decision makers
What are these information exactly that can be exported?
So in general (and according to the documentation) the Information we can export are the information that is generally available to the website at the point when creating the snapshot. This includes:
- Data from the API that has been called to generate the visualizations
- Snapshots of the AmChart graphs
- Additional Text and Tables (e.g. to recreate the Scenario cards)
Could that be also relevant for the health reporting on infectional diseases of the LHAs? (one LHA asked if that reporting could be included in the statistics part of ESID; @JonasGilg you have a template of a health reporting of one LHA)
It seems the export function allows for arbitrary elements to be added to the exported document. so as long as the LHA reporting is not too complex, we could provide an export function based on a template report (as long as there are no complext text segments that would need to be generated without a specific template).
Might be also interesting for the communication of scenarios to decision makers
If the API can provide additional explanations of components or similar stuff. It could be quite easy to generate a document to give an overview over the different scenarios.
Thanks! The export function is something we could discuss in the focus groups with the LHAs. We already noted the item.
This topic came up in the focus group today. The LHAs asked if it's possible to have a description of the simulations in the export to know exactly what simulation they used.

What does that mean, statistical part of ESID? Could you elaborate, probably a small example.
We thought that the statistics function should be programmed anyway. For further details, we need to have specific questions, which we can then discuss with the LHAs.
