It is not possible to enter text in a selscetd chat because the text box at the bottom is missing:

To Reproduce

Use Android Tablet with non stock browser such as EDGE, Chrome or Firefox and select a chat.

Expected behavior

have a composing text box availabe like on desktop machines ;-) :
