Error on Compilation: exec: "/bin/avr-g++": file does not exist

After following the instructions from the STEM 1 kit for project one, I received this error: Compiling exec: "/bin/avr-g++": file does not exist unknow error:Compiling I've set up the IDE with Arduino IDE and have the board connected to my computer. I'm not sure what to do now.

very sorry, i assume you are using arduino IDE 1.8.10 version. We too noticed this issue and are going to release the new OSEPP block IDE to solve it. Yet until then please use arduino IDE 1.8.9 You need to uninstall arduino IDE 1.8.10 because OSEPP block doesn't have the interface to disconnect arduino IDE(as a result, it always remembers the old setting) thank you so much for using OSEPP block.
